The Original by the inventor of surfing helmets with audio vents for better listening. This Helmet is extremely light and so you hardly notice that you even wear a helmet. During development, special attention was paid to minimizing water resistance in order to eliminate the risk of neck injuries during washings. Of course, all Gath helmets are absolutely corrosion resistant and dry extremely fast. Since 1989 when the Australian pro surfer Rick Gath presented his helmet to the astonished public for the first time, this helmet sets the standard at which the competition must be measured. Perfect fit on land but also in the water, minimal weight and minimal water and air resistance make the Gath helmets well known far beyond the surf scene. No wonder the Gath is the helmet of choice for kiters, jet ski pilots, canoeists or even parachutists when it comes to perfect fit, highest functionality and absolute safety.

Technical Information
GATH helmets are made from quality materials to strict specifications and are built to last. All materials are strong, durable, rust proof and will withstand harsh climate conditions and temperature extremes.

Shell – Long lasting, UV stable, high impact resistant plastic.
Liner – Multi impact, non-water absorbent foam.
Headband – flexible and soft Neoprene for tight fit and comfort.
Comfort Strips – Multi impact, non water absorbent foam.
Fittings – All Gath helmet custom built screws and rivets are made from strong non-corrosive, salt water resistant materials.
Retention system:made using non-stretch standards approved webbing, standards approved quick release buckles for a secure retention and are fitted with a nylon coated non water absorbent foam for added comfort.

Gath Hats with NEO Headband are fitted with comfort strip as follows:
S = 540 - 550mm
M = 560 - 570mm
L = 580 - 590mm
XL = 590 - 600mm
Weight: 355 - 390 Gramms depending on the size of the helmet.
